The Facts

The national employment rate for individuals with disabilities is at 17.5 percent compared to the 65 percent of those without disabilities. Millions of people with disabilities are impacted due to unemployment. Creative Souls provides a workplace where people with disabilities design the artwork that goes on each pair of canvas shoes, shirt, etc., allowing them to express their creativity and individuality.

Each artist at Creative Souls will be known as a Creative Soul, because that is truly what they are!

How do our artists make money?

When any of our artists designs on a product are purchased, the Creative Soul will receive money every time their design is purchased. Here is a breakdown for each product payment:

Shoes - Artists receives $6.00  each time a pair with their design is purchased

Shirts - Artists receives $4.00 each time a shirt with their design is purchased

Stickers - Artists receives .25 cents each time a sticker with their design is purchased

More products on the way, which means more opportunities for our artists to get paid!

Where does the rest of the profit go towards?

Creative Souls vision is to create an opportunity for the artists to make money. The remaining money will be put into Creative Souls to further our mission. To further our mission means using the money to buy more products, ink, and any other extra costs associated with the business.

How often do our artists get paid?

Each artist will get paid in a period of 35-days. At the end of each month, we will add up how many products get purchased with the artists designs. Once we know the total in each category, we will send a check to the artist with the total amount. Why 35-days? We need five extra days to make sure we are paying our artists accurately and efficiently.

Our Mission

The mission of Creative Souls is to empower people with disabilities to earn an income while gaining an amazing learning experience where they can feel valued and show their unique personalities through their work as an artist or as a member of the team.

"Creative Souls will never be done with the work that we do. As long as there are people with disabilities without jobs in the United States, we will keep pushing on to not only provide an opportunity but also empower these individuals."

- Drew McNamara, Founder of Creative Souls
